WILDLIFE SPOT LIGHTING SAFARI
A unique 1.25-hour evening drive tour exploring part of this World Heritage Listed area searching for the animals that call Cradle Mountain National Park home.
Cost: $50 (Adults), $25 (Children aged 4-12), Free (Children under 4). Excludes National Park Pass.
Duration: 1.25-hour
Note/s: Warm clothing is highly recommended, especially during the winter months.
CRADLE MOUNTAIN HIDDEN GEMS TOUR*
Embark on a journey through Cradle Mountain National Park, uncovering hidden gems along the way. Search for wombats on part of the Overland Track, visit the historic Waldheim Chalet Museum, and stroll through the breathtaking ancient Weindorfer Rainforest.

PARK DISCOVERY TOUR*

CRATER LAKE GUIDED WALK*
This stunning walk showcases the incredible diversity and breathtaking scenery of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area (TWWHA). This half-day, fully guided experience takes you on one of Tassie’s 60 Great Short Walks.

ENCHANTED WALK
Join our guide on this 45-minute interpretive journey, exploring one of Tasmania’s best 60 Great Short Walks.
Grade: Easy

KING BILLY GUIDED WALK
Join our professionally qualified guide on an extraordinary Cool Temperate Rainforest Guided Walk. During this interpretive journey, the guide will share insights into the relationship between our First Nation people and the plants, animals, and wider ecosystem. Discover how this forest served as a vital source of food, shelter, tools, and medicines for the Palawa/Pakana people.
Grade: Easy/Medium

DOVE LAKE GUIDED WALK
Accompany our professionally qualified guide on a scenic walk around Dove Lake, nestled beneath Cradle Mountain in Tasmania. This premier half-day adventure offers intimate and epic views of the famous mountain, winding through diverse landscapes including rainforest and special vegetation such as buttongrass, myrtle, sassafras, fagus, and King Billy pine.

MARIONS LOOKOUT WALK*
The Marions Lookout Walk is an excellent choice for those seeking a more challenging trek than the Dove Lake circuit. This trail takes you around Dove Lake and ascends to Marions Lookout, offering spectacular vistas on clear days. It includes some steep sections, making it suitable for individuals with reasonable fitness levels.
Grade: Medium/Hard

CRADLE VALLEY GUIDED WALK
Embark on a scenic journey from the Lodge, tracing the Cradle Valley boardwalk to Ronny Creek. Marvel at the incredible diversity of flora and enjoy breathtaking views of Cradle Mountain throughout the walk. After reaching Ronny Creek, we return conveniently by bus to the Ranger Station.
Cost: $65 (Adults), $32.50 (Children aged 12-17). Not suitable for children under 12. – Excludes National Park Pass and Bus Ticket.

FLY FISHING TUTORIAL (CATCH & RELEASE)
Join us for an instructional lesson in the delicate art and joy of fly fishing, with a focus on catch and release practices. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned enthusiast, our expert guides will cater to your skill level. Learn about essential equipment such as rods, reels, lines, and flies, followed by hands-on instruction in fly casting techniques. Practice your newfound skills as you aim to catch trout in our private dam.
Cost: $35 (Adults), $17.50 (Children aged 12-17). Not suitable for children under 12.
Duration: 1-hour
Please note, this experience is not available during winter months when the lake is frozen.

Here at the Cradle Mountain Lodge, we offer a range of enriching experiences including Premium Wine & Cheese Tastings, High Teas (Saturdays only), Lectures & Presentations, Trivia Nights (every 2nd Tuesday), Telescope Star Gazing, and more.

ACTIVITIES TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Cradle Mountain Lodge reserves the right to modify tours without prior notice.
- A booking may be cancelled within 2 days of the reservation with no penalty.
- In the event a tour is cancelled by Cradle Mountain Lodge, a full refund will be made.
- Participants booked on half or full-day activities must be of adequate fitness suited to the activity and complete a health questionnaire and Cradle Mountain Lodge indemnity form.
- Before you leave home for Cradle Mountain, please pack for all weather extremes. Pack a raincoat, suitable footwear, for example hiking boots or trail shoes, a beanie, gloves, thermals, fleece & down jackets.
- Minimum numbers may apply to some activities.
- All activities and tours are subject to change due to weather conditions.
- All tours require a National Parks Pass which is an additional charge to the cost of the tour (available at Lodge reception). Some tours may require a bus pass/ticket.
- Not all activities and tours are operated daily. Please check with the Lodge on arrival for availability of activities of choice.
- On our longer walks, complimentary hot chocolate, tea & coffee are provided.
