Mobile Phone and Internet Access

Visitors to Cradle Mountain Lodge should be aware that due to our location in a wilderness area, access to mobile telephone networks and internet connections is limited. The Telstra Next G network does provide some coverage around parts of the Lodge and surrounding accommodation; however, connection to other networks may not be available. If you have specific concerns regarding mobile phone or internet coverage, please do not hesitate to contact us. It’s worth noting that many visitors to the Lodge find the escape from such technology one of the most enjoyable aspects of their stay.

What to Bring

When visiting Cradle Mountain Lodge, it’s advisable to bring warm clothing, comfortable walking shoes and socks, a camera, and binoculars. Given the unpredictable weather, waterproof coats and clothing are essential. Additionally, don’t forget to pack a swimming costume if you plan to use the spa facilities.
